A Dream of a Poem

As I slept I dreamt of the perfect lady

So in my dream I sat down

And wrote a poem to describe her

For it is only in the words of our dreams

That such a lady can be portrayed

There are no words in the awaken languages

Which can express:

A Beauty, so radiating,

Which fills the senses so nothing else exists.

A Nobility, so pure,

Which one is inspired to become a Saint.

A Love, so strong,

Which everything seems possible.

A Prize, so precious,

Which is worth more than all the world.

After I finished the poem in my dream

I fought against the coming of the dawn

I did not want to lose the dream words

Those perfect words to describe the perfect lady

My only consolation when I reluctantly woke

Was that even though I lost my perfect poem

The perfect lady in which I dreamt

Shares my wedding bed.
