Magic

 I have been here, I do not know how long. In this prison, in this mockery of my home. My capture, a being of incredible power, has grown bolder in it minions’ torture of me. At first I thought they were lying about doing it all in a name of a god. After all neither Mort or any of its gods would allow such useless inflection of pain on another. But I have learned that Mort is no more, banished along with the rest of the First-Ones. According to my captures, their archons  are waging a war on the Children of Mort. They say that the Archons Ahen, Sheven and Wu have been imprisoned and it will not be long until Archon Batz and Showen  are also. I believe them, for how else could this be happening to me. And I believe them more because their archon showed itself, to take a direct hand in my pain. And what I learned in that moment! I now know why they fear us so. We are them. Or we are what they would have been if the madness had not taken them…

Spells

Wizard Spells are divided into basic, advanced and master spells, and then further divided into common, uncommon and rare spells. Basic spells are those which can be cast with a single elemental energy. while advanced one require two or more elements (often astral) to work. Master spells are those which have complicated requirements, usually with planer magic points types, skill levels and often place and time requirements as well.

            Common spells are those spells are traded/sold/given without much thought. They are ‘commonly’ found anywhere where wizards are. Uncommon spells are generally ones which cannot be bought normally but become available through story line. Rare are spells which are generally only taught within select groups, or subgroup, and may define the group from other similar ones.
