Literal Rock: the firboy have a radically different metabolism being comprised of compounds similar to volcanic rock (silica primarily).
Effect:
Natural armor: 2 vs all except acid
Immune to all posions
Venerable to acids
Not affected by high pressure or vacuum
Diet: primary dietary needs of the firboy is carbon and silica, The need for carbon can be (and usually is)be met through organic foods though they can digest inorganic carbon (limestone, dolomite, etc)and concentratged orgainic sources (coal, humus). The firboy can survive of ‘regualler food’ for some time, weeks and even months but will start to grow week, then sick, and eventually die, as the diet does not provide enough silica. For that reason traveling firboy ussually keep supply of concentrated Silica (quartz, chert, jasper, flint, granite, basalt etc.) with their rations and eat them daily like vitamins.
The fire Soul (Ahiwai): the froboy talk of ahiwai, while this is often called the ‘fire within’ as that is the direct translation, it is beterr undstood of as a ‘fire soul’ or soul of fire. It represents the importance of fire in the firboy’s culture and self-image. And their desire to seek out and embrace and consume heat. froboy are practically immune to fire damage, but not being a native of the plane of fire, there is a limit to how much heat they can withstand before they start to melt their ‘living’ aspect.
Effect: 20 armor vs fire which decreases by 1 for every point of fire damage taken, applied after any worn armor but before natural armor. The armor returns at a rate of 1d4 at the end of their turns, as the excess heat bleeds off. If the character is in a cold environment, or submerged at least half in water or other such cooling agent, the armor returns at a rate of 2d4. Anyone grappling or being grappled by the froboy when they are dispating the heat takes 1d4 pts of fire damage at the end of their turn. Touching the superheated froboy causes 2pts of fire damage.
