Fairies at War
Fairies whisper secrets in the moonlight glow
Guiding steps through paths where wildflowers grow

Through ivy curtains and a river’s soft embrace
They lead me gently to a magical place
In the forest where the fairies dance

In this world of wonder I want more
Crystals glisten where the sunlight fades
Creatures hum a tune in the twilight shades
Every rustle tells a tale untold
In a spellbound story beautifully bold
Time stands still in this dreamlike land

Whispered wishes on the evening breeze
Carried by the fairies through the whispering trees

As fey blades and grim claws swung
Pine and ivy secrets keep

Goblin footsteps prowling near

Whispered tales of ancient lore
Fairy flutter goblin roar
In the forest dark and deep
Where no soul dare to sleep
Fairies flitter wild and free
Goblins grinning wickedly
Magic woven through the air
Nighttime creatures everywhere
Tales of yore in crystal tears
Lost in battles through the years
Heartbeats drum with silent fears
In the war tears dries and sears
Stars fall down and rivers rise
Echoes ring through anguished cries
Mortal eyes can’t see the lies
In the clash, only hope survives
NOTEs: the Fey war song/Fairies at War was near the end of my rhyming phase. the problem i always have with rhyming, especially in poetry is that always sounds a bit childish, or like a limerick to me. even when that is not what i am trying for. And might also notice that their is a some more lines in the lyrics/poem above then the song on you tube. that is simply because it was two long for the AI and it kept cutting off the end of it. so i cut some lines, and it just happened this version was fast enough that it would have been able to handle all the lines. But i liked it enough that i kept it the way it was.
